TOPIC:     ARE YOU PLANNING TO GO TO HEAVEN ALONE?  SUNDAY SEMPTEMBER 3
TEXT:       Matthew 9:35-38
KEY VERSE: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

Are you going to heaven alone? Did Jesus die for you alone? Why shouldn’t you be concerned about the spiritual state of people around you? When are you going to awake to the reality that your relations are not going to Heaven because their names are not in the Lamb’s Book of Life? When are you going to become conscious of the fact that your colleagues in your work place are just there in the shadows of today, and that in a little while eternity shall envelop them in the torments of hell fire? When are you going to awake to the reality that all these people you meet in the market are just ghost beings waiting to be pushed into the abyss of hell? Will you not arise in compassion for souls of men? Will you not do something to rescue perishing souls of men, women, youths and children?

Are You Fearing To Tell A Dying Person The Truth? Why are you respecting a dying person? Why are you bothering about their anger? Why are you ashamed to tell them the message? Why are you familiarizing so much with your neighbour that you are not able to introduce Jesus to him? You have the full gospel; will you not arise to pluck perishing souls out of the fire of hell?

Woe unto you if you preach not the gospel! God wants us to awake to real passion as Paul: For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! – 1 Corinthians. 9:16. Are you a child of God? Do you know that woe is unto you if you preach not the Gospel? Let me tell you, Mordecai told Esther (Esther 4: 13-14 Paraphrased): “Esther what do you mean? We are perishing here and you are seating at ease in the king’s palace thinking that you are a queen and that the king will not allow you to be killed? Are you thinking that you are going to be saved; that if we all die you will remain? God forbid!”

Who told you that you are going to be saved if you live among sinners – seeing them crying out of their sinful burden, going the way of hell – and you fold your hands, mocking and saying “I am saved; thank God for my soul?” If you want real salvation, to be free from the blood of men, go and redeem them. Run after them and labour. That’s the reason why you’re left on earth.
Ezekiel 33:7-8 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”
Thought for the day: There is no fear in love. Preach without inhibitions.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
