TOPIC:  GOD UNDERSTANDS YOUR NEEDS AND WILL SATISFY THEM.  FRIDAY SEMPTEMBER 8

TEXT:  ISAIAH 58:9-12
KEY VERSE: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11).

God knows you, for He is your Creator, Father, friend and Saviour. He knows your needs, situation, difficulty, desires and pains. He feels them along with you. In His understanding and Fatherly love, He is planning to meet your needs, proffer solution to them and give you satisfaction. Your duty is to trust Him and wait for Him. We see this in His provision of a helpmate to Adam.

God brought animals and birds to Adam to name them. Adam was giving names to them. Adam noticed that the animals and birds coming to him were in pairs, male and female. It revealed a need in Adam. He must have started feeling or wishing for a female partner as he saw in the animals. God must have concurred with Adam that he needed a female partner. God felt his need with him. He went into action, unknown to Adam, to meet that need. God committed Himself to satisfying Adam. He saw it as His responsibility being his Creator. (1) He made him fall into a deep sleep. (2) He took one of the ribs of Adam. (3) He made a woman from that rib. (4) He brought her unto Adam.

Adam saw his need met by God and was joyful and satisfied. He said “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.” His heart's longing had been satisfied. God is responsible to you as Creator, Savior, Deliverer, Satisfier. As God thought good on Adam so He is thinking good toward you. As he satisfied the need of Adam, so He will satisfy your need. He is concerned for your situation. He has a plan to meet your need. He has committed Himself to the plan of meeting your need. (1) He will bring about the circumstance that will work out your own salvation. (2) He will communicate to you the wisdom that will produce your victory, break-through and progress. (3) He will lead you to the place that will satisfy your longing heart, where you will find answers to your prayers. (4) He will send you the person who is God's messenger of blessing to your life. (5) He will perform the miracle in your life through His divine power.

Now you know that God knows your need and feels with you. What you are expected to do is (1) Pray to God and tell Him all you need. Then give thanks to Him because He knows them and wants to meet them. (2) Trust Him with all your heart to meet your needs. Don’t try to help God out by taking any sinful step to meet your need.  (3) Wait for the Lord who is working for you. He shall soon perform it, bring it to pass, pour the blessing upon your life, and make you satisfied as Adam. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart,” (Jeremiah 29:11-13.)

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
