QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON FAMILY PLANNING

TEXT: JEREMIAH 1: 4-6

SUNDAY DECEMBER 10TH

Key verse: Jeremiah 1: 6 “Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold I cannot speak; for I am a child.”
Question: If contraceptives are used to prevent a child from being born, is it not wrong? Also, since God decides the number of children for a couple, why not allow it since Adam and Eve did not use contraceptives or any doctor’s advice on how to do it?
Answer: God is not against family planning. But if Jeremiah’s parents had done family planning, would they not have affected Jeremiah? No. If God is in a matter, He will protect it. There are people who say, “I don’t know how this one came, it was an accident. If God is involved, He will make a way for himself. Don’t say you are blocking God’s will. No, you can’t block His will. Even herbal medicine is an accident; not everyone that takes the herbal medicine gets healed. Some will even say my legs started swelling since I started taking herbal medicine. All by accident. Some medical doctors do not approve herbal medicine because there is poor dosage and it is dangerous. Everything is dangerous because even if you know dosage there is still danger there. Life is a risk; with prayer the Lord will see you through.
Question: For women that are not able to have children, doctors in some hospitals insert sperm into the woman and when it is time to give birth to the child, they operate to deliver the child. Sir, Is it evil or sinful?
Answer: Does the method work without immorality? Any pure knowledge that does not involve sin and produces results is okay just like we can breed varieties of fat oranges with much water. They don’t occur naturally but knowledge has increased so we can have them. Are they not good for us? Taking sperm from a man and implanting it in a woman for a child to be born is a good thing for us. There is nothing wrong with that, even if it is not from the husband but from another man; a donor. This wisdom can make childless couples, joyful parents of children.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
