LOSS OF FIRST LOVE FOR GOD

God's blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: LOSS OF FIRST LOVE FOR GOD
TEXT: REVELATION 2: 1-7

SUNDAY DECEMBER 3RD

Key verse: Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Now, to love God totally is the only acceptable way. It is the only acceptable way because He brought you for Himself, He wants you for Himself and He gave you an assignment. God will look at you and wonder, “You mean, I gave you an assignment and you say money took you away? I mean I, the God of your life, the One that breathed into your nostrils, I gave you an assignment in My church, you failed and you are giving me an excuse? You are giving me a reason.” You have no reason. God expects perfect obedience, perfect commitment, and wholesome surrender to Him and His ways. He expects complete observance of all His ways. No reason, No! Not at all. Wholesome obedience to God's word and love for Him must be kept steady in all our lives.
As you rejoiced at the time you got born again, as you yielded everything at that time and served Him wholeheartedly, so should it remain in the same spirit every day, every year of your life until He calls you from this work, from this world, for that was the life of Jesus. Can you ever tell me when Paul lost his zeal for God? Can you remember any time when Paul lost his zeal for God? Not once! That should also be our life, our pattern, our ways, and our commitment every day.
Deuteronomy 5: 29 O that there was such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever. O that they were wise; that is God speaking. O that you were wise in heart; that you have such a heart in you. O that there was such a heart in them, O that there was such a resolution in them, that they would fear me and keep all my laws. The world is hard and full of temptations but keep all my commands, O that they would keep all my commandments always. That is the word. There would have been no failure there, but you relaxed, joined politics, and began to do other things. Even when you knew clearly this was darkness, you were still following. You have failed it.

Thought for the day: To love God totally is the only acceptable way to serve Him.

Song for the day: O how I love Jesus (3x), because He first loved me

Bible reading for the day: Daniel 1-2; 1 John 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
