CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORD OF GOD

Gods blessings shall follow for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORD OF GOD
TEXT: PSALM 19:7-9

FRIDAY DECEMBER 1ST

Key verse: Matthew 4: 4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
The scripture above shows us the characteristics, qualities or attributes of the word of God which are as follows: I. The word of God is perfect – there is nothing to add or subtract from it. It is perfect. II. The word of God is sure – it is certain. There is no ambiguity or uncertainty about it. It is sure and dependable. III. The word of God is right – what God says is right. The commandment of God is right, always. IV. The word of God is pure – This implies that the commandment of God is pure, and very clean. There is no error and dirt in it. V. The word of God is clean – It is clean, just as you know what it means that something is clean. There is no dirt in it.VI. The word of God is true and righteous – true and righteous altogether.
The word of God is the revelation of God's mind and nature to mankind, designed as food for our souls by which we must live. Man shall feed upon every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Man shall live, be nourished and fed by every word of God. What is this word of God? It is perfect therefore man should feed upon perfection. And man should live on perfection according to the word of God. The word is sure. Man should live by the word that is sure, sincere, real, and certain. Man should live by that. Again, it is right. The word of God that is right is what man should feed upon. The word is pure so man shall live by the purity of the word. As you feed on purity so you should live in purity of the word. It is pure. The word is clean; man should feed on and live by the clean word.
Again, the word is true and righteous altogether. Man needs this word that is true. This word that is righteous altogether should be the word that man should live by. If a man lives by the word, he shall be perfect because he lives by perfection. Again, he shall be sure, sincere and genuine. He shall be right in his ways. He shall be pure in his nature, in his heart, in his character and in his being. He shall also be clean in every way because the word that makes clean is what he eats and feeds upon. He shall be clean, right and righteous all the time.

Thought for the day: Obedience to God’s word must be complete and wholesome.

Song for the day: I am standing on the word of God, the word of God is power…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
