TRUTH IN THE GOSPEL DOES NOT DEPEND ON MAJORITY,
TEXT: MATHEW 7: 13-14
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 30th
Key verse 2 Timothy 3: 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Worldliness in denominational churches these days makes worshippers to think that those carnal moves among them are normal and therefore acceptable to God. Since they see many churches involved in such carnal display, the conclusion among these deceivers and the deceived is that God is in their worship. Instead of looking into the Bible to see what the word of God says, they choose to copy one another as far as such worldly display brings more members and financial gain to them. To them, majority carries the vote, even if God is crying and souls lost. They forget that the word of God says in Exodus 23:2, that you should not follow a multitude to do evil.
Truth in the gospel does not depend on majority, but on the sound word of God, even if only minority accepts it. If only one person stands for the truth while others reject it, the truth remains with the person that accepts and keeps it. If everyone rejects the truth, the truth will stand alone and cannot side false majority. Truth is Christ Himself. Therefore do not yield to human traditions and denominational dogma. Majority of denominational churches involve in the use of various oil for prayers, put on weave-on, jewelleries, seductive dresses and worldly adornments. That majority are involved in using them does not make them acceptable to God. If they continue in this way, they will end up in hell fire because the word of God is put aside to follow wrong mentors.
2 Timothy 4:4, And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
To them, ministry is money business and not soul winning. Did Abraham in the Bible go by majority? During the time of Noah, was it by majority? Be among the few holding on to the truth. Do not follow a multitude to do evil.
Thought for the day: Follow the truth, not the majority who may be wrong.
Song for the day: Lord, teach me Your word (2x), I want to know Your word...
Bible reading for the day: Ezekiel 43-44; 2 Peter 2
