CARE FOR YOUR LIFE

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: CARE FOR YOUR LIFE

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 29th

TEXT: ACTS 27:33-36

Key verse: Acts 27:34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
Some basic necessities are required for your health and carelessness in taking care or one's health could have consequences in future. For instance, some people may have accident today and fail to go for proper medical check-up, only to begin to experience effects much later in life when they go to the doctor to make complaints. Oh that you were wise at that time. Feed your body with appropriate food for your health. Be careful with fasting. If you persistently subject that body to a bad condition you shall find it so in future.
A particular pastor once said, I have finished all my fasting!' I asked, how did you finish your fasting? He explained that he went on marathon fasting as a young preacher, until stomach ulcer caught up with him. Now that you claim to have finished fasting, have problems also finished? Why did you finish your fasting so early? Have troubles of life that may warrant scriptural fasting and prayers also finished? Let your moderation be known to all men.
Be informed that if you fail to take proper care of this body today, it might be the reason why you may backslide tomorrow? When some sicknesses come on some people and the pain is too much to bear, they begin to accuse God. It was on account of Job's body that the wife asked him to curse God and die. If Job was not committed to righteousness, the case of his sickness was enough to make him angry with God. Do not wait until you become older and the body takes another shape because of the way you treated it yester years, and then you begin to accuse God or blame others. Do not engage in risky businesses that could bring ill health to your body and affect your performance. There are some businesses that may give you pneumonia or asthma due to exposure to dust, irritants or extreme cold weather. Be careful with your health.

Thought for the day: Take positive actions early in life to take care of your body

Song for the day: It is well with my soul

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
