THE JOY IN SOUL WINNING

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: THE JOY IN SOUL WINNING

MONDAY
NOVEMBER 21st

TEXT: LUKE 15:3 – 10
Key verse: Psalm 126:5.  They that sow in tears shall reap in joy
When a sinner or a backslider is brought to the salvation of Christ, what a joy to the passionate soul winner! When someone has been redeemed; angels clap their hands, praise the Lord and make a joyful noise in heaven. “Yes! A soul has been won for Jesus! A soul has been bathed in the blood of Christ and redeemed from eternal hell!” That is the joy of the passionate soul winner!
Acts 8:5-8 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.
An old man of whom I had wondered: “Does this man understand this gospel we preach? Is he catching up with what we are saying when he comes to church?”  One day, the man came to me for counseling and testified concerning a message I preached that week. He said when the message was going on he cried as he had never cried before. I asked him, “What do you think takes people to hell?” He replied, “Sin and wickedness in their lives lead people to hell”. I asked him; “If someone does not want to go to hell what will he do?”  He said, “The person must repent of his sins and give his life to Jesus Christ”.
What a joy to me that was! I said, “Lord, is that what you have done?” that is the joy of my life and I know it’s not only that man; there are many others. Transformation is going on in many others, Salvation is going on. Deliverance is going on. Jesus Christ getting glorified. Is H1e glorified in your life? There is joy when one sheep is brought back to the kingdom. There’s joy before the angels that are in heaven. Soul winning could be costly and tedious, the persecutions are great but the rewards are greater.

Thought for the day: Experience the Joy of a soul winner.

Song for the day:  I have Joy like river….

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
