WHAT OFFENCE HAS GOD COMMITTED THAT YOU SHOULD BETRAY HIM?

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: SUNDAY MARCH 21st

TOPIC: WHAT OFFENCE HAS GOD COMMITTED THAT YOU SHOULD BETRAY HIM?

TEXT: Isaiah 30:9-11
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

KEY VERSE:  Jeremiah 2:5 Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

What was wrong in God that Adam and Eve could not stay permanently with Him? When Satan suggested to them that there was another state different from the state in which God put them, why were they willing to turn away from God? Satan told them, “You will become like God.” That sounded interesting to them and it altered their loyalty. They left the place God placed them and moved elsewhere.

That is the problem with many people. Take care of your mind; take care of your heart lest you will abandon this good thing the Lord has given to you. Testimonies from heaven back up these things you are hearing, yet you may still abandon these teachings. Jesus is telling you to take care of yourself because He knows what was in man. Is it not the same people that shouted “Hosanna” that later said, “Crucify Him?”

Jesus said, “I call you not servants but I call you friends.” He graduates them. A servant does not know all the master does but a man is ready to open the whole of his heart to a friend. It means some of you are at the servant level, hence weighty things may not be entrusted into your hands.

You may not be trusted with the wealth of the Lord. You may not be trusted with privacy. I call you not friends but I call you servants because a servant does not know all his master does. But He came to some people and said, “I call you friends. I approve of you over and over again.

John 15:14-15 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Can you see the levels of people? Levels of relationship? All this while they were not friends, they were servants. It takes time to become friends. After He had checked them, after He had loaded them and tested them, weighed them, and seen their stability, He’s now calling them friends. So the Lord knows man, they have disappointed Him so much. Please don’t disappoint God.

Thought for the day: Stay where God has placed you. Only there will you find His presence and peace.

Song for the day: I just want to be where You are, in Your dwelling place forever….

Bible reading for the day: Joshua 4-6;

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
