THE PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRISTIANITY

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: 23 MARCH TUESDAY

TOPIC: THE PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRISTIANITY

TEXT: Titus 1:1-2

KEY VERSE:1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

In today’s devotional text, we see that our God that cannot lie has promised us eternal life. God that cannot lie has promised you eternal life. He has given the promise of eternal life to all of us that are serving him in righteousness and holiness. All of us that suffer persecution by others or from others because of our Christian life have the promise of eternal life. Woman, God that cannot lie has promised you eternal life. Therefore, endure the persecutions from your husband. God is saying if you can continue with Him despite what you are passing through, you will have eternal life. Are you a single woman or a widow? Or probably nobody has come to you yet and you are advancing in age? God that cannot lie has promised you eternal life as you remain faithful in righteousness and holiness to the end of your life. Similarly, you young man, that has kept yourself from pollutions of the present life, and from the immoralities of this world, God that cannot lie has promised you eternal life. Are you a minister of the Gospel working hard for Jesus, even without pay, and having many sufferings to contend within your life and family, God that cannot lie has promised you eternal life as you remain faithful unto him? This is a wonderful thing.

What is eternal life? Eternal life is the life that lasts forever. It is the complete and perfect form of existence, that does not know decay, pain, sickness, shame, heart sorrow, or death. Eternal life is a life of perfect righteousness, holiness, peace, joy, love, satisfaction, comfort, rest, victory, and eternal fullness. Eternal life is sharing in the divine nature, which is far above all forms of life on earth. It is the opposite side of eternal suffering and death in the lake of fire. Eternal life is the promise God has given to you. Eternal life is the life of the occupants of heaven and of the new heaven and the new earth, which the Lord shall bring about after the millennial reign. Eternal life is the best gift God can give to a mortal man. It is the best way God can say to man, “Thank you for your service, for your suffering. Thank you for dying for Me.” It is the best gift in life. Praise the Lord!

THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS TEXT: NUMBERS 14: 26-31  Key verse: Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many  be called, but few chosen. Completion of the angelic message: The Lord continued. “Because of this mandate given to you, I am removing around you the uncircumcised leaders. I am going to fill their place with righteous and holy leaders from various nations and races.” Truly I had pondered if any minister has suffered like this. People I loved, cherished and lived peacefully with suddenly began to speak evil against me to my shock. Well, it happens in politics, but is limited to their countries, whereas mine is international! Yes, some ministers may have suffered these things, but that was before the advent of the Internet, so their sufferings were limited. Maybe through letters or newspapers for a limited time, but my own is in the world of the I...
