TOPIC: TRUST IN GOD FOR A MARRIAGE PARTNER

TEXT: Psalm 118:8-9
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.  It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

KEY VERSE: Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Don't put your confidence in man's choice. They may be doing it to help you because they think you are ageing, but they may be leading you into sin. God may not be in the whole arrangement. Sometimes, it is you that approach them because you think they are clairvoyant – they can see the future. But can they see like God? Can they be trusted like God? Are you sure it is not Satan giving them vision?

Go to your Father by yourself. Yes, others can join you in prayer but let God who is your Father make the choice of a future partner for you. Let nobody turn himself or herself into a matchmaker. Moreover, don’t go into this boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. That is the way of the world. Don't seduce or entice anybody to yourself. If you do that you have employed Satan and the Holy Spirit will not be in it.

Do not consider an unbeliever for a wife or a husband. He does not know your God and may never know Him. Don't think you can convert him or her after marriage. Don’t think once he or she joins you in fellowship in Holiness Movement he or she will change. It does not work automatically like that. Your partner is somewhere and God knows him or her.

Don't approach a person before seeing the leadership or the marriage committee. You don't need to dream before you receive God’s leading. It could be a kind of peace in your heart. Present the name and let the leaders investigate because he or she may be married, or already engaged to someone else, or a divorcee, or may belong to some synagogues of Satan.

But whoever it is must show evidence of salvation and give assurance they are marriageable in Christ for God will not give a serpent for fish or a stone for bread.  Don't talk to her yet. There is time for everything. The leadership will ask you to go for medical tests to confirm critical blood compatibility for wisdom is profitable to direct.

It may also be necessary to check the genitals because somebody carrying a man's face may have a woman’s genital. Are you a eunuch? Why do you need a wife? Why create a problem for the future? If medical tests are okay, you move to the next stage of proposal. Then follows parental introduction with accompaniment to avoid temptation.

Thought for the day: If you look up to God for direction, you will never miss your way.

Song for the day: We are saying faithful are You Lord…..

Bible reading for the day: Exodus 1-3; Matthew 15:21-39 #Horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
