TOPIC: LIVING FOR ETERNITY IS ONLY IN JESUS

TEXT: John 17:1-3

KEY VERSE: John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

You don’t want to die? Then, get connected to Jesus. He came with His own vehicle of eternal life to carry passengers from the earth to heaven. Jesus is eternal life. I am inviting you to come into this ship of eternal life; come into this ark of eternal life; come into this vehicle of eternal life; this flight of eternal life for the salvation of your soul.

In today’s devotional text, we can see that Jesus came for eternal life and if you accept Jesus whom God has sent you will have eternal life. See how simple it is and many people are already in this vehicle of eternal life. They are connected with God through Jesus. They submitted to the Lordship of Jesus and so have eternal life.

John 3:14-17 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Have you been saved? Have you entered into the vehicle of eternal life? Have you entered into this aeroplane of eternal life? Have you resolved the matter of your sin with God? Have you settled with Jesus? Have you given your life to Him? Have you invited him into your life? Have you asked him to take over and rule over your life?

Do you obey His Commandments? Do you love him? For your eternal life, Jesus came and gave up His life. The life of humanity that He put on was for Him to die so that His pure blood can wipe away your sin; so that you may be cleansed and made pure and ready for heaven.

Seeing Jesus, John the Baptist exclaimed, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Your eternal life was what brought Jesus from heaven to the become man on earth. Have you given your life to Jesus? Are you born again?

Thought for the day: The first step in your relationship with God is to get born again.

Song for the day: He came from Heaven to earth to show the way….

Bible reading for the day: Genesis 29-30; Matthew 10:1-23

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
