TOPIC: MARRYING IN GOD'S WILL AND BELIEVER’S COMMITMENT JANUARY Friday 8th
TEXT: Romans 12:1-2
KEY VERSE: Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Marrying in God’s will depends on the believer’s commitment and determination. People of the world are abandoned to sin and error because God is not in their lives, hence they do as they like. When the Kingship of God is not recognized in a person's life, he does as he likes. This is so in marriage. Many have married the way they wanted to marry because they don't know God. Jesus is not their Lord, so they are ordered by some other influences and they suffer the consequences later. This error has affected the course of Christ and Christianity. Because God was not involved, you pick whatever you like. Do you have the power of a good choice? It is the course of God's grace that they missed out. Only God knows how to give good things. Today, many are lamenting about their wrong marriages. This also affects the church. God needs you and your spouse. You picked anybody you saw in the market and such a person may never know God and may never be recoverable. The language and ways of God are strange to him or her. He or she is being forced to speak the language of Christ but she cannot understand spiritual things. In this way, many have gone to become in-laws to Satan and demons.
Some have been able to seek His face well and His grace has helped their marriage. But there are still some following the way of the fallen man. Some are still bent on their way. They are not ready to bring God into their marriage. Many troubles are on the way; making tomorrow difficult and giving the church a bad story. These are people with high potential in the church but now, how do they fit in well? Gone are the days of ignorance. What would you say about him or her that is familiar with the doctrine of holiness and yet does this? You are bringing demons to the fellowship of believers and giving trouble to the church. Is the father of the sinner, not the devil? The world is abandoned to its way because of sin and evil, so it is in marriages. The focus is on assessing by sight, educational status, and financial status. I must marry my class because pride is involved. God is not inside. You that is a child of God, don’t be part of this.
Thought for the day: If you marry in error, you may become in-law to Satan and his devils.
Song for the day: Jesus takes the wheel…..
Bible reading for the day: Genesis 20-22; Matthew 7 #Horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
