HOW DO YOU SUCCEED IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY? TUESDAY MAY 2 TEXT: JOSHUA 1: 1-9 Key Verse: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shall meditate therein day and night ………..” Joshua 1:8 Anywhere you go people talk about success including the house of God, many preacher of the gospel have written books, organize crusade, seminars conferences and even produced CDs, DVDs on success. Now, we want to hear what God have to say about how to succeed in your ministry. To succeed in the ministry arises from a book and it is called the book of God. This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth, therefore know what is written in the book of God and be committed to the word of God. To succeed comes from total and careful obedience to the words of God written in His book called the Bible and then you shall succeed in your ministry. Again, then your ways shall be prosperous. To succeed in the ministry is not determined by the number of your congregation and the number of services you hold every Sunday. You may have a membership of one thousand (1,000) people in your congregation and none among them is qualified to enter heaven! That is, you may have gigantic church building but the worshipers therein are not heavenly candidates, you are not yet succeeding in your ministry. Until you turn yourself and make yourself available to God in total obedience and complete submission to the words of God by doing what is written therein, you cannot turn your congregation into doing things right with God. There are two ways you can succeed in your ministry: The godly way; and the ungodly way. The Godly way of succeeding is from God because God doesn’t see as man see. He is not interested in a large congregation but the soul that is holy and righteous. The ungodly ways are the ways of men. Men judge by appearance and in numbers. God have lay down rules and regulations written down for us and therefore access us through the complete obedience to that rules. Thought for the day: Total obedience to the word of God is a sure way to succeed in life. Song for the day: I am a blessed child (2x), Jesus made me a blessed child, I am a blessed child. Bible reading for the day: 1 Kings 3-5; Luke 23:1-26

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
