NATURE OF GOD’s WORD MONDAY MAY 29 TEXT: PSALMS 19: 7 – 11 Key verse: The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Psalms 19: 7 Learn the law of the Lord for it is perfect. The word of God is perfect. Yes, it is also called the testimony of the Lord. Testimony of the works of the Lord, and these testimonies are sure. They are not a fabrication. The statutes of the Lord, doctrines of God as we teach them, as we fix them here and there, are the pillars of the house. the statutes of the Lord, and what are these doctrines? The Bible says they are right. Don’t debate them. If you find anybody challenging them, then allow that person, he is wasting his time. The commandments of the Lord are pure. God commands them. Commands mean that they are things you must obey, else you disobey the commandment, and whosoever disobeys, faces the consequence. They are the fear of the Lord, and that is clean, teaching you how to live your life in the righteousness of God, in consideration of the presence of the Lord, of the service and worship of the Lord. They are the judgments of the Lord, the decisions that God has arrived at, and these judgments of the Lord are true. The decisions that God has taken over man, over life, over circumstances, over situations, they are true. What will be the result as you pay attention to these things? You will be converted. The ignorance in your life will vanish. The Lord will turn you over to the truth. You will be turned over to the way of righteousness. As you receive the word, your life will change. You will now be wise, because you are going to hear a lot of the foolish things that people do, and you will learn wisdom as you consider the results of the foolish actions of other people. You will also learn from the people that follow right paths and how it ended with them. When you hear the testimonies of the Lord, you will learn wisdom. You will get more understanding. The teachings and doctrines are pillars in life. They are rejoicing the heart. You will be glad, just glad. Your heart will be happy, they will make you happy, because you can see clearly. You will know what to do, how to live with yourself, with your God, with your neighbor, with your parents and with everyone. You will just be glad, and people shall call you wise. Thought for the day: The word of God is perfect Song for the day: Forever O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven. Bible reading for the day: 1Chronicles 26-27 ; John 11:18-46 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
