IMPORTANCE OF SANCTIFICATION SUNDAY MAY 21 TEXT: PSALM 23: 1 - 6 Key Verse: “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5: 8 Sanctification is the means by whereby we shall enter into the kingdom. It is called: holiness; purity of heart and cleansing from in-bred sin. It means dead to sin and the world. It is a desirable thing for every child of God. It will make us clean. 1) It will open the door of heaven you to enter. It is the boarding ticket to the kingdom of God. 2) Sanctification is the cure of sin that dwells in men. 3) Sanctification is the cure of bad habit. The apostles were born-again and saved but they were seeking for position when they were converted initially. Conversion alone without righteousness cannot open the gate of heaven for you. 4) Sanctification is the cure for a stony heart. It is at the point of sanctification that God will root out stony heart. Sanctification will remove stubborn heart. 5) It guarantees complete freedom from sin. It is holy life that guarantees you eternal life. 6) It guarantees you freedom from bad manners and the gift of the Holy Spirit; 7) It enables you to put off the old man that is corrupt. Jesus saw the need of sanctification of His disciples. Jesus was really burdened about His disciples. The disciples were saved and not of the world; the world hated them. Yet it did not qualify them for going to heaven. Jesus prayed that God will keep them. Remember that you are not of the world; so will not live like the world. Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth. Your sanctification is dependent on the truth which is the word of God. Thought for the day: Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy word is truth. Song for the day: You shall be holy unto Me, for I the Lord am holy. Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 3-5; John 8:1-20 #horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
