BEWARE OF STRANGE SPIRITS MONDAY MAY 22 TEXT: ACTS 8: 9 – 11 Key Verse: “And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying” Acts 16: 16 Beware of strange spirits in the midst of God’s people, because the mixed multitudes are not children of God, the Spirit of God is not in them. It is Satan that is at work in them. 1) Familiar spirit - They go by familiar spirits. They know what they are; reveal the truth to be delivered so that the devil will be put to shame. Confess the real cause and be delivered. 2) Spirit of divination -Foretelling future; this same spirit is working seriously in the world. Everybody needs knowledge of the future. That hunger and thirst have to be satisfied. They reveal secrets of what has already occurred in the world of darkness. People are curious about their futures. 3) The spirit of witchcraft - These spirits are in the church. Simon had bewitched the whole Samaria. He used witchcraft to perform miracles. Satan is now using “operation-catch-them-young” through sweet, biscuits and food. People are getting into witchcraft through the internet. The kingdom of the devil must collapse in HOREMOW 4) The spirit of fornication - The spirit of fornication is working greatly among the brethren. This woman has humbled great men of God. Samson was a victim. Delilah brought him there. Jezebel has humbled many. They have killed many saints. See the dressing of the women. They are here in church to damage many Christians. 5) The spirit of seduction - The spirit is not only for immorality but persuasion of peoples’ minds against the truth. God sent His ministers to teach you all things; you say you want God to teach you by Himself. These spirits have blinded your minds not to believe the truth. It makes you to challenge the doctrines of righteousness, truth, restitution, sanctification and holiness. 6) The spirit of disobedience - It is a spirit of opposition, division, stubbornness, rebellion. Thought for the day: Beware of the mixed multitude. Song for the day: Jesus power, Super power; Jesus power, Super power Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 6-7; John 8:21-36 #horemow.

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
