CONTEND AGAINST DENOMINATIONAL BARRIERS MONDAY MAY 8 TEXT: 2 KINGS 7:3-8 Key Verse: “If we say, we will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also, Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die” I Kings 7: 4 The four lepers made a rightful decision that save their lives, made them rich and brought turnaround for the entire city. These lepers were kept outside the gate because of the nature of their ill-health (leprosy), even with their being in isolation yet they didn’t want to die of hunger, they desired to live, they wanted to live by all means, and so they took a dangerous but courageous decision to go to the camp of the enemy to find food, not minding the danger of being sighted. The free people inside the city were also hungry and ready to die, but did not take decision because they were afraid and prefer to die in the city. Many today are technically besieged in denominations, practically caged in by man-made rules and Church policies, to the detriment of their souls. Backsliders, sinners and compromisers in many denominations are barricaded from having access to the end time revival of holiness, righteousness and truth. Whenever you take a rightful and courageous decision, not minding what will come after, you will obtain the backing, favour, mercy, love, care, comfort, direction and sustenance from the living God, the lepers obtained all in His side. They ate, drank, became satisfied and discovered bounty, and were also blessed with silver, gold and beautiful raiment, without hands yet were rich people because of their courage. What will be your decision, when face with denominational dogmas that are contrary to God’s word? Will you sit there and die with the tradition of men or manIpulation of carnal men? Why sit you there to please denominational powers to the detriment of your soul? Why are in glorying in carnal doctrines, unscriptural doctrines; unscriptural teachings, why boasting over denomination pride, why playing with hell fire, if you don’t make the right and courageous decision, you will die. The voice of the Lord is telling you No, make effort to live, take a decision of risk. Thought for the day: Courageous and rightful decision delivered them from hunger and death. Song for the day: Jesus the way the truth and the life……. Bible reading for the day: 1 Kings 16-18; John 1:29-51 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
