TOPIC: A MINISTER OF CHRIST IS ANOINTED FOR POWER AND EXPLOITS
TEXT: JOHN 15:15-16
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 11TH
Key verse: Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
As a minister of Christ, God has called you to anoint and empower you over Satan. He called you to come and be with Him. He says, “I want to anoint you; I want to give you victory over Satan; I want to put power in your life. Let every minister of the gospel who has come to be with Jesus know that he has power. God gave it to you because he called you. You have anointing, you have the power of God because he called you. You need to align yourself with this scripture. You have power, so let not Satan weaken you with fear; let no devil belittle you; let no man put fear in you;
because if you are called to be a minister, you are called to be with Jesus and you are called to be anointed with power over Satan and his evil kingdom. Refuse the fear he is plaguing you with. Confess what the Lord has said about you because you will need this power to minister by it, you will need this power to save others, you will need this power to fight Satan in the gospel work. Holy Ghost baptism is an increase of inherent power. By virtue of being a minister, you already have the measure of the power to do this work.
Jesus called you to use you in the gospel service of all kinds. The fruit of the minister is exemplary Christian life. It is the product of the word preached to you. The fruit of the ministry is doing things with positive results in the house of God. In the call of God, bringing forth results is essential since you are called for this purpose; that your fruit should remain. If you are laboring without fruit, plead with God, “You said my fruit should remain; show forth my fruit Lord, in whichever measure.” Trees bear fruit after their kind in their season. Pray that you should be fruitful.
Thought for the day: Laboring for God without fruitfulness is vanity.
Song for the day: Must I go an empty handed
