TOPIC: GOD IS FAITHFUL
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 23rd
TEXT: HEBREWS 11:8-12
Key verse: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised).” Hebrews 10:23
Let it be settled in your mind that the One who gave you that promise you are claiming is faithful and does not change. He made the sun that has never ceased rising. The Person that gave you that promise is the One you can see His handiwork in the sun. The sun has never failed to rise in the morning and set in the evening. The moon also has never failed to rise at its appointed time. The God that has promised you is the God that made the sun and the moon. Has there been any month in all the years past that the moon did not rise? Have you noticed any day in your life that the sun did not rise?
That same God will surely rise for you at the appointed time because He does not change and He cannot be stopped, believe what He has promised you and it shall be done in Jesus’ name. Sarah’s miracle son came because she judged God faithful in His promise. Although Sarah was above the age for child-bearing, God can be depended upon for the unusual. Although the situation is looking impossible, God can still be depended upon. Although the problem is so big and hopeless, God can be depended upon. It is the One that does not know deterioration and hopelessness that you trust in.
If He has told you He will come and has not yet come, please wait for Him. He will surely come. He is still going to come. Things may appear to have gone out of hand now that He has not yet come; never mind, when He comes, Lazarus shall come forth out of the grave. All things shall be alright and over. Trust Him for He is your creator and Lord. He is the one that brought you to life. He is the Maker of all things. That is why you should believe all things that He tells you. Believe both the written and spoken word.
