ABRAHAM THE FATHER OF FAITH IN CHRISTIANITY

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: ABRAHAM THE FATHER OF FAITH IN CHRISTIANITY

TEXT: GENESIS 12:1-3
MONDAY FEBRUARY 20th

Key verse: Hebrews 10:38 “Now the just shall by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him”
From our text, you can see in this scripture the Lord chose Abraham. I am talking to you about the line of Christianity. The Lord chose Abraham, Abraham was barren, and he did not have children. The Lord said, [paraphrased], “Don’t worry, with your wife, I am bringing you up to be a great nation, the mighty shall come of you. Now through you shall be born one, who will be a blessing to all the people in the world”. So, you can now see what he was doing, it is a promise to Abraham, “Jesus will be coming through you and the seed I promised in the garden, I told the devil in the garden he is coming to destroy Satan and free mankind from him. I will pass him through you, Abraham”.
You can see what God has done and where Christianity started. It started in the garden. It is following a line and it is going forward. When God promised Abraham, I am going to give you a seed and by that seed, multitude shall come to the world, at that time Ishmael has been born. There are many religions on the earth; religion is the way people choose, to take them to God. The way people follow, to take them to God. Now, there is Christianity living side by side with other religions. In a family, there can be Muslims, there can be Christians. In a family, there can be people of other faith and all of them will be saying, “We are serving the same God”.
It is my responsibility as a preacher of Christ, sent to preach the gospel of salvation, the gospel of righteousness and eternal life, to tell you the truth and the difference. Christianity, let me tell you how it started. It started by promise, a promise God made to the devil in Genesis 3:15, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thin head and thou shalt bruise his heel”. This is where Christianity started from the very beginning even between Adam and his wife Eve, the promise that there shall be Christianity, there shall be Christians had been given at that time.

Thought for the day: Christianity began with God’s promise in the garden of Eden

Song for the day: When I remember His promises, I shout Alleluia (2x)

Bible reading for the day: Numbers 3-4; Mark 3:22-35

THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS TEXT: NUMBERS 14: 26-31  Key verse: Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many  be called, but few chosen. Completion of the angelic message: The Lord continued. “Because of this mandate given to you, I am removing around you the uncircumcised leaders. I am going to fill their place with righteous and holy leaders from various nations and races.” Truly I had pondered if any minister has suffered like this. People I loved, cherished and lived peacefully with suddenly began to speak evil against me to my shock. Well, it happens in politics, but is limited to their countries, whereas mine is international! Yes, some ministers may have suffered these things, but that was before the advent of the Internet, so their sufferings were limited. Maybe through letters or newspapers for a limited time, but my own is in the world of the I...
