God bless you for taking the time to study.

TESTIMONY OF MIRACULOUS REUNION OF BROKEN MARRIAGE
TEXT: Malachi 2:13-16

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24th

Key verse: Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”
Narrated by a chapter leader: I heard of a couple that was having marital problems after being in marriage for many years. Their only daughter was over 16 years old. I visited and listened to them. After which I encouraged them with the word of God. Later, I heard that they have separated, although many people including pastors have counseled and pleaded with them to settle their differences. I visited the man again and asked him about his wife, he told me that she decided on her own to pack out of the matrimonial home. I collected the wife’s number and left. Next time I heard the case was in court for a divorce.
It was within this period that we had our chapter meeting and as God arranged it, the message of the International Director was “True and False Doctrines in Christianity”. I was so much touched by how Pastor Paul Rika spoke on issues of marriage that I bought two cassettes of that message for the man and his wife. I went back to the man and he narrated to me how far they have gone in the law court. I told him that I have nothing to say again but to request a favor from him and that he should listen to this message and I gave him the message. I traced the wife with the number the husband gave to me. I preached to her but she insisted that she has decided to be alone. I gave her the cassette and pleaded with her to listen to it carefully and then conclude what to do.
To the glory of God, the man called me happily after some time and informed me that his wife had returned to their matrimonial home with their daughter and that the case had been withdrawn from the court. I was overwhelmed with joy and decided to visit them and see for myself. Praise the Lord Jesus! The couple is now living joyfully together. Please I encourage all HOREMOW members to use the messages of our pastor for personal edification and evangelism. Praise the Lord!

Thought for the day: Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled.

Song for the day: My wife shall be a blessing, my children around my table…

Bible reading for the day: Numbers 11-13; Mark 5:21-43

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
