REASONS WHY THE CHURCH BECAME CORRUPT

TEXT: Hebrews 12:5-13 

TUESDAY JANUARY 31st 

Key Verse: Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. 
The church became corrupt today because the ministers failed to enforce discipline on erring members. The leaders followed American and European rules that forbid eating or erring children. They adopted that wicked principle into the church and spoilt their congregation. Their members dressed shabbily and nobody talked. Pastors allowed their members to appear anyhow they wanted to the church to serve God. They play drums, and sing in the choir in their sins without rebuke from the leadership. They spared the rod and spoiled their congregation. If a leader cannot discipline the members of his congregation, it means he hates God and His people. You that spared them will not go to heaven. You do not want them to have a good future with God. 
Your ministry does not have a love for God and His children. He that does not love his brother abides in darkness; he is a murderer. You are killing those people, you are responsible for their backsliding, and you are the one sending them to hell. The word of God asks you as a leader to correct them, yet you are pushing the correction back to God. Are you not stubborn and rude? If you are on the Lord’s side, you will correct and rebuke them.  Do not think if you discipline them, they will not come to church again. What do you mean by that? If he is of God, he will remain. If he goes away, then he is not of God. The correction of the Lord is in righteousness and not in wickedness. Correct the women in sinful dresses. Do not think they will go away. Have the women in HOREMOW gone away? No! Then why are you afraid of rebuking indecency in women dressing? Reposition yourself as a minister of God and direct them on the path of truth. Do not think if you tell women to stop abominable adornment in their dressing, they will leave the church. Those that are of God will comply with truth. Chasten thy son and don't spare his cry. Do not spare the church, correct and rebuke the people. Respect nobody in this matter.
