IT IS TIME TO RECOVER YOURSELF  
MONDAY JANUARY 9th 

TEXT: Ephesians 5:13-17
Key Verse: Ephesians 5: 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arises from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 
Do not allow the devil to pull down your prayer and study life through busy life or to affect you badly through laziness. Samson through carelessness became blind. Samson, will your blind eyes be opened again? You allowed the devil to pluck it out. You were so careless and now your sight is gone. How will you recover, now that Satan has cut short your ministry? This is for our caution. Please, watch out. It will take discipline to stay by the Bible and to pray. Now that the television and the handsets have taken over, watch it! These have taken over your prayer life and you don’t have time for God any longer. Know that the spirit of death is pursuing you. Samson, the Philistines are upon your life! Evil spirits are running after you to take away spirituality from your life. Jesus said, “Peter, Satan has desired to have you, to sift you as wheat.
You may look tall but have no more usefulness. The fine particles in your life have been sifted out. Unfortunately, many people have lost their prayer and fasting life. They carry this Christian life just like that, dragging themselves without holiness. You have lost that which will make you holy; the refined particles and the virtues of righteousness which come through sound devotional life with God. How then can you be holy? You are now a Christian just by name. It is the rough particles of the wheat that we can now see. The fine powder has been removed because the devil kept you busy doing another thing. You are so busy going for extra courses, extra studies, and extra this and that. Overtime and more work till the light is gone! Oh Lord, grant the hair of Samson to grow again. May the Lord give you grace for a new beginning. God is speaking to you through this devotional; read the Bible, listen to messages and create good prayer time. Christianity is dead in many lives because many have left the Bible. They no longer hear from God. That is why God is bringing you back to the scriptures to recover your righteousness in Christ Jesus.
