DELIVERANCE FROM A GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT

TEXT: PSALMS 107: 1-16

TUESDAY JANUARY 10th

Key verse: “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!.” Psalms 107: 21
Here is a testimony narrated by Pastor Cyril Utomi:
I thank God for delivering me from untimely death in August, 2018 on my way to Holiness campground, Kwali. There were nine other persons with me in the vehicle. As we approached Souka, one of the rear tyres suddenly exploded and I lost control of the vehicle which then somersaulted and ended inside one of the gutters by the highway. When I regained consciousness, God had brought helpers to rescue us. I was bleeding profusely from deep wounds on the head and my face was badly battered. I praise God for saving the lives of all ten of us. A similar accident occurred around the same place the next day and all eleven occupants of that vehicle. died. I was rushed to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, by the FRSC officers.
I give thanks to God for many miracles He wrought for me: Preservation of my life; I did not break any bone. No blood transfusion was done despite the heavy blood loss and several surgeries; three surgical operations by Ophthalmologists, an extensive plastic surgery and another minor surgery to remove extraneous material. HOREMOW project money in my possession was miraculously preserved. I recovered my two handsets in good order a week after the accident. I enjoyed favour from the medical team, from the leadership of HOREMOW.
The International Director, our beloved Mummy Linda, coordinators and brethren visited me regularly and supported in prayers, financially and materially. People in the wards were amazed by such love and where pleased to learn about HOREMOW. In addition, there were numerous phone calls from within and outside the country, and a lot of comforting messages and prayers from the social media as well. Finally, I thank God for my wife and family members who cared for me during the period. May God’s name be glorified.

Thought for the day: He that keeps thee neither sleeps nor slumbers

Song for the day: I never knew You will honour me this way, my Lord…

Bible reading for the day: Genesis 25-26; Matthew 9:1-17

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
