SEE GOD IN HIS MERCY AND JUDGMENT

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: SEE GOD IN HIS MERCY AND JUDGMENT

Text: 2 Samuel 12: 11-14

SATURDAY JANUARY 28th

Key Verse: Psalm 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto Thee, O Lord, will I sing.
This was the commitment and resolution of King David, the righteous leader of God's people. Though it was the resolution of David the godly king, it is still the standard that Jesus the Bishop of our souls has as the One leading the flocks Himself. This is the standard every true and righteous leader must have. The Psalmist praised God both for His mercy and judgment as seen in our key verse. We must see God both in His mercy and judgment, goodness and severity; kindness and punishment; salvation and condemnation, quickening people back to life, and in destroying people forever. You need to see God in these two perspectives; mercy and judgment.
We speak often of His grace, kindness, love, and forgiveness. Certainly, God will show you kindness, God will forgive your sins but see God also as a judge. Will He that judged Satan and the angels that followed him spare you? How many sins did Satan commit in heaven that warranted this everlasting curse on him? Remember that Satan was an archangel and covering cherub. Remember his beauty and the service he rendered to God. Have you done one percent of all the works Satan did when he was Lucifer in heaven? Isaiah 14:12-15. God’s Judgment went forth against Satan and he removed him from heaven. He was cast down to the earth, to the sides of the pit, and his dwelling in hell fire.
The man of God must see mercy and judgment in the service of God: Some qualify by mercy to be in God's service but there are those who by God's judgment and severity have been rejected and excluded from God's service already as king Saul who although still serving yet was long rejected by God. Why? They took God’s mercy for granted and never feared His judgment. As a result, they still romance with sin in their daily lives. Know that as merciful as God is, He is also a God of judgment. When Saul was rejected as king, was he not still on the throne? Be careful, lest thou also fall into the judgment of God.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
