DO NOT LABOUR FOR OTHERS AND NEGLECT YOUR SOUL

TEXT: Mark 6:30-32

THURSDAY JULY 14th

Key verse: 2 Timothy 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
Love is the great commandment. The first is to love God and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. God has not commanded you to love others and neglect yourself. That is why you must not labor for others to neglect your wellbeing. He wishes you to go on to the end until Jesus comes for you at death or in the rapture so that you can carry your ministry to the end. You need preservation and this preservation is for your body, your spirit, and your soul. God desires that we who minister to others in the gospel should also minister to ourselves so that we may be first partakers in the benefits of the gospel. He says. "Take care of yourself because I want fullness from you. I want you to receive the blessing of it, spiritually and physically.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Since the husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits, make sure you minister to your spirit and soul before ministering to others. By this understanding, we are combining both the spirit and the soul, although, in reality, we know that they are separate. Make sure that you take care of your spiritual life well. Don't neglect it for any reason. This counsel is essential because it is often the case with many Christian workers and ministers to overwork themselves serving others to neglect their wellbeing. They are busy working for others while they neglect their own lives. Eat well, rest well, sleep well and take good care of your health as you labor in the vineyard of God. This way, you will preserve yourself strong enough to face tomorrow’s task. Even Jesus in His earthly ministry found time to rest. Mark 6:31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

Thought for the day: Take good care of yourself, physically and spiritually.

Song for the day: Grace, Thy grace alone is all I plead for.

Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 13-16; Acts 18

THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS TEXT: NUMBERS 14: 26-31  Key verse: Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many  be called, but few chosen. Completion of the angelic message: The Lord continued. “Because of this mandate given to you, I am removing around you the uncircumcised leaders. I am going to fill their place with righteous and holy leaders from various nations and races.” Truly I had pondered if any minister has suffered like this. People I loved, cherished and lived peacefully with suddenly began to speak evil against me to my shock. Well, it happens in politics, but is limited to their countries, whereas mine is international! Yes, some ministers may have suffered these things, but that was before the advent of the Internet, so their sufferings were limited. Maybe through letters or newspapers for a limited time, but my own is in the world of the I...
