DEVOTIONAL LIFE OF A HEAVEN-BOUND CHRISTIAN

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: DEVOTIONAL LIFE OF A HEAVEN-BOUND CHRISTIAN

TEXT: JOSHUA 1: 6-8

SATURDAY JULY 16th

Key verse: Hebrew.12:14

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Christianity is all about a holy God, who lives in the holy heaven and sent His holy Son to the earth to redeem sinful men and make them holy in heart and life so that they may serve the holy God eternally. Holiness is God’s demand from men. It is also God’s provision for men in Christ. Ephesians 5:25 The Bible clearly says that God has not called us unto uncleanness but to holiness but many people despise the teaching of holiness. Be warned for he that despiseth, despiseth not man but God who hath also given unto us His Holy Spirit.
You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Keep God’s words and obey all His commandments diligently. Live in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. He who hath called us is holy so all Christians are expected to live holy lives. All who claim that the call of God on their lives is to preach only healing, prosperity, and miracles are telling us that it is not the Lord Jesus Christ that called them because the call of God is unto holiness
Total cleansing is through faith in Christ. In Christ, you can be purged. Peter said in Acts 15:8-9 God which knoweth the heart, bare them, witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their heart by faith. This is what the Lord has promised to do. The matter is in your hand. God is the architect of holiness but the decision to do or not to do is in your hand. God will not force you but the choice is yours since He has told you the requirement for heaven. You are the one to decide whether you want to be holy or not, whether you will consecrate yourself unto holiness or not. Can you dedicate yourself?

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
