A QUESTION ON THE USE OF EARRINGS

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: A QUESTION ON THE USE OF EARRINGS

TEXT: GENESIS 35:1-4

THURSDAY JULY 28th

KEY VERSE: Isaiah 57:14 “And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.”
A question from Sister Ladi Nkem’s testimony:
“Did Jesus tell you during your encounter that the use of earrings is an unclean practice before God or was it your conviction from bible teaching in the church?”
The response from Ladi Nkem:
“I heard it from the lady in hell fire who said her pastor taught her from the scriptures that God condemns the use of earrings, but that she disagreed with him. Jesus asked me to tell the world what I heard from her. The lady also said God condemns the use of hair attachment. Concerning earrings, a baby is not born with a hole in her ears as a provision for the earrings, showing that God did not make provision for their use in the human dressing.”
Further explanation:
The issue is not whether earrings are big or small; whatever the size, they are condemned by God. Satan told his demons to come among God’s people and encourage the use of those things that God hates and condemns to defile them. Do not harden your heart. God has been speaking to you in diverse ways. It is the mercy of God that is bringing this message to you. Many languishing in hell today did not have this opportunity. Remember there shall be no excuse on the last day. The greatest pain in hell is the pain of regret. Receive the grace of God to silence the voice of the flesh that is constantly telling you how ugly you look without jewelry. Beloved, come to holiness, and be clothed with God’s glory.

Thought for the day: Whatever God prohibits in your physical outlook must not be used to defile the temple of God which you are.

Song for the day; I have decided to follow Jesus…….

Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 53-55; Acts 27:26-44

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
