BIBLICAL REQUIREMENTS OF MESSIAH FULFILLED IN JESUS

God bless you, for taking your time to study.

BIBLICAL REQUIREMENTS OF MESSIAH FULFILLED IN JESUS

TEXT: LUKE 4:17-21

TUESDAY JULY 19th

Key verse: Isaiah 7:14

“Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Emmanuel.”
From the scriptures, the seed of the woman that God promised in the Garden of Eden was to come into the world through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; of which Jesus came through this lineage. Other biblical facts include the following:
1. He must be an Israelite as Moses was and not a stranger from another tribe, as Mohamed of Islam was. Therefore, no Israelite must accept a Messiah that is not an Israelite. Since the God of Israel is the God of all men, no man must accept the Saviour of mankind who is not from the tribe of Israel. This identity is true of Jesus Who is the Word of God to humanity, for our salvation and eternal life.
2. The seed of the woman, the Messiah, the Christ, the everlasting King of all men must be a son of David, according to God's covenant with him.
Luke 1:30-34 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a Son, and shalt call His name JESUS. He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom, there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
3. The Messiah shall be the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost. Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
The above evidence and many more are in the scriptures to illustrate the authenticity of Jesus as the only Messiah.

Thought for the day: The scriptures affirm the authenticity of Jesus as Messiah

Song for the day: God said it and I believe it, that settles it…

Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 28-31; Acts 21:1-14

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
