YOUR NEEDS ARE IN THE HOUSE (OR PLACE) OF PRAYER

TEXT: Luke 11: 1-4

WEDNESDAY JULY 20

Key verse: Isaiah 56: 7, “Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine, the house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.”
God is asking every believer to meet Him in the house: the house of prayer, because everything a believer need is in the house. Our physical houses are a place of comfort and convenience for us. When we are tired and worn out from daily mundane activities of life, we normally look forward to going to our homes, our houses where we find rest, peace, and comfort. In our houses, we eat satisfying food from our tables and take baths that refresh our bodies among many other things. So also is the spiritual house of prayer, where God invites us to meet Him, and in this place, we can find peace, joy, comfort, and great blessing. If we are hungry, He feeds us in His house, where He sets a table before us in the presence of our enemies. When we need cleansing, He rinses us in the water of sanctification.
Everyone is invited to meet Him in the house “… for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.” All flesh is invited to come to Him there and receive the blessings of salvation, hope, faith, miracle, and healing. Psalms 65: 2, “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.”
Believers need not carry the burdens of distress and problems upon themselves. Just bring it to the holy mountain of the Lord’s house and leave it there. God promises to make us joyful in His house. In His house, everyone leaves with happiness. What is the problem tormenting your life? What is causing you misery or shame? Bring it to the house and change shall come to your life; answers shall come, blessings and peace shall come; wisdom and counseling shall come, and you shall be joyful.

Thought for the day: In His presence, there is fullness of Joy.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
