TOPIC: CAST YOUR BURDEN UPON THE LORD, HE SHALL SUSTAIN THEE

DATE: FRIDAY 8TH  APRIL

TEXT: Psalms 55:22

Key Verse: “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.

God wants His children to depend on Him for everything. When you are going through challenges in life, remember that the Lord is waiting for you to cast it upon Him.

He is not only aware of what you are passing through, He shares it with you. He feels what we feel and HE is the one who cares for us.

In today’s text, the Psalmist says “cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved”. God says to His children “Give Me every set of circumstances with which you feel unable to deal or handle.

The pressure upon you to “respond” to those circumstances immediately may be very great, but you must always make time (even if only for a moment) in which to give the situation, with its uncertainty or fear-potential, to God your heavy yoke.

Psalm 55:16-22

16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.

17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

My child, know that the simple way, or almost mechanical, giving of everything to Me ensures the divine activity in all that follows ME. You can then be conscious that all which develops is prompted by Me, and within My will for you.

The most fleeting moment spent giving the situation into My hand is repaid many times over by the moulding of events under My power and wisdom. Learn to hand over to me, and then patiently watch My oversight, and My intervention, in the development of that one in which you have surrendered to Me.

Thought for the day: Give God every circumstance you feel unable to deal with.

Song for the day: I am handing over,  (handing over 5x) everything to God.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
