MUTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF HUSBAND AND WIFE IN FAMILY DEVELOPMENT

19TH TUESDAY APRIL

TEXT: PSALM 115:9-15
KEY VERSE: ECCLESIASTES 4:9 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour”
The Lord has been mindful of us and wants to bless our families. He wants to bring an increase to your family. He promised to do this because you have given your heart to Him. As you practice righteousness and holiness in your home, you will see a new home. The demons that have been troubling your family shall give way. The spirit that troubles the heart of your husband or wife that things cannot go well shall give way, Amen.
“For I know Him (Abraham) that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord to do justice and judgment; that the Lord will bring upon Abraham that which He had spoken of him” (Genesis 18:19).
In our key verse, the scripture says two are better than one. God recognizes the mutual benefits in the role of husband and wife in family development. Do not despise your wife or husband no matter his/her illiteracy, race, or experience differences. These differences are wealth to the family and should be harnessed in wisdom to help the family. Do not call your wife or husband a fool because of the differences in life: he who calls another person a fool is in danger of hellfire:
“But I say unto you, whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire” (Matthew 5:22).
Avoid unruly behaviour and save your souls from hellfire Therefore see each other as one, made of one blood. If there is any challenge because of the differences in life take it to the Lord in prayer, and where necessary seek counselling.
Psalm 115:9-15
9 O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
11 Ye that fears the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.
14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

Thought for the day: Harness your differences for your family's development and peace

Song for the day: Bind us together Lord, bind us together with love

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
