SATAN USES DECEPTION TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT OF THE TRUE CHURCH

TEXT: 1 KINGS 22: 21-24     
KEY VERSE: JOHN 8:44 “ye are of your father the devil and the lust of your father ye will do…. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it”
The battle over the souls of men is a very strong one. Jesus died to bring the church to holiness so that the people could go to Heaven. Satan is working hard so that nobody will come to Jesus. He uses deception to keep the people away from Jesus. Deception is a false statement made convincingly to make someone believes a lie. The power of deception is lying, and Satan is the father of it. Satan has guided the people with the power of lies that they are unable to repent.
 Satan’s use of deception did not start today. Judas Iscariot was a victim. He worked and lived with Jesus for three years and saw the miracles Jesus performed, yet he was deceived and turned against Jesus. Satan used the power of deception to send Adam and Eve away from the garden of God. When they discovered, they have lost everything and were naked. By deception, Satan sent many people away from Holiness Movement.
God revealed to Sister Linda Rika the demon of the Lord’s chosen church, yet the people are deceived that she is from marine water, and later lied that she had died to keep them in darkness - The power of deception. The deceptions going on among other groups planned by the devil: Muslims are deceived to fight the children of God, the Christians; the Igbos are deceived by Nnamdi Kanu to reject Jesus and embrace Judaism; the witches and wizards have been deceived that Satan is greater than God thereby employing them to commit atrocities for him. 
What makes you remain with your worldly attires after repentance? Satanic lie! What have they told you about Holiness Revival Movement that you now speak against it? The power of deception! Watch and pray against the weapon of deception in the church of God.
1 Kings 22:21-24
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him.
22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth and do so.
23 Now, therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.
24 But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee?
