BRAIDED HAIR/PLAITING OF HAIR EXPLAINED

TEXT: EPHESIANS 2:1-3, 1 JOHN 2:15-16
Key Verse: Nehemiah 8:8- So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
The reason God gives commandments to us is to instruct us on His righteous ways, to promote righteousness, prevent sin, and protect the righteous from satanic influence. Braiding or plaiting of hair in these passages does not refer to the simple clean and the decent way women weave their hair or use simple thread to tie strands of their hair to keep their hair natural, neat, long and feminine. It rather refers to the unnatural, ostentatious and fashionable hairdo practised by the ungodly, according to the dictates of their god and master, Satan. It is designed to satisfy the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
1 John 2:15-16
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.
The ungodly woman applies many things to her hair for charming beauty and attraction. The following must not be indulged in by believers: perming, Jerry curling, hair attachment, weave-on, barbing of hair, dyeing of hair, use of wool, use of fashionable thread, and worldly styles of hairdressing. The long hair is given to the woman for her glory, while the man's dignity is in maintaining short hair. A woman appearing with trimmed or cut hair is a woman that has lost her natural given glory by her God.
Many women complain about their hair, claiming it is strong and tough. Thank God, some women, who are determined to keep the word of God, have seen good and simple ways to make their hair soft and natural. Seek counsel. Do not fix ornaments or beads into your hair or that of your children. Some women, in the spirit of worldliness, turn simple threads into attachments. This is an abuse of their righteousness. Artificial hairdo of all kinds makes one a liar against the truth.
Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonour their bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie...  Make me holy LORD

Thought for the day: Remove anything that will hinder you from making Heaven your body before it is too late.

Song for the day: My body, my spirit my soul all for Jesus (3X), all belong to Jesus

Bible reading: 2 Samuel 19-20; Luke 21:20-38

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
