MAN IS A UNIQUE CREATURE OF GOD

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC:            June Sunday 14th
Text: 1 Thessalonians 5: 23, Ecclesiastes 12: 7, Hebrews 4: 12
Key verse: Proverbs 8:31, “Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.”

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” (Genesis 1:26). God is saying, let us make man in three distinct persons like us. No animal has this nature. Angels in heaven don’t have it. The creation of man is superior and best in comparison to all other creations of God. God’s delight is with the sons of men because they resemble Him the most. He made man to be like Him, after His likeness, after His Person. This also explains why God became Man to redeem man from sin because man is too precious to be lost.

God could lose an angel but not man. Man was made in His image. God loves you so much. God is not talking about animals or trees. He is talking about you, because you are in His image and too precious to Him to be lost to Satan. From our text, you can see that your body is distinct from your soul and spirit. God made you in His own image. As God is separate, you too can be separated. When Jesus was born, He left the Father in heaven to come to the earth as a human being. While on earth, He was separate from the Father and the Holy Spirit but He later ascended back to heaven after His resurrection from the dead. In the same way, the body will reunite with the soul and spirit after death. This will take place at the resurrection of the dead when the three components of man shall be together forever, because they are made in the image and nature of God..

The power of God can separate the spirit from the soul. Also, human beings on earth can achieve the same through sinful practices of soul travel, witchcraft etc. The spirit and soul of witches and wizards get out of the body and go to covens for meetings. The body is left at home but the other components of man are elsewhere on evil assignment. One part of the person is lying down (the body), but the other two parts (spirit and soul) are gone. Even the spirit and soul can still be separated because they are two different components just as God made man in His image.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
