BE FAITHFUL TO THE END

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: BE FAITHFUL TO THE END           June Wednesday 24th
Text: 2 Timothy 3:10-17
Key verse: 2 Timothy 4:9-10 “Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.”

From these scriptures, we can see that Timothy was with Paul to the end of his ministry. God did not call Timothy away from Paul. But you will hear some youths in Timothy’s shoes say, “Eh, God gave me greater revelation. In fact, in my ministry with Paul, I was actually the key man that God called. Didn’t you hear that there were prophecies on me? You didn’t hear that I have preached the gospel and laid hands upon men?” That is the language of stubborn youths, rebellious youths that have left the cause of Jesus. Do not let your ambition affect the gospel of Christ. Your ambition will affect the gospel of Christ if you are not fully committed; if all that is in your mind is to establish your own ministry. In their quest to break off, they start to spread lies against their leader and the ministry they are serving just as they also did in Holiness Revival Movement. They tell all sorts of lies to get sympathy and gather followers.

They want to establish their own movement. May be they will call it “The Holiest Movement On Earth.” When they are asked, “What happened to Holiness Revival Movement that you once belonged to,” they will reply, “The Lord told me that he is no more there. The Lord told me His spirit has left Holiness Revival Movement. The Lord told me they are committing sin there. In fact, Holiness Revival Movement is in the hands of man now.” Is it true that Holiness Revival Movement is no more in the hands of Jesus? They are liars looking for relevance. Don’t be like them.

Thought for the day: Be like Timothy who served Paul faithfully.
Song for the day: Until I reach my home (2x), I will never stop my journey half way…
Bible reading for the day:
Job 1-3; Acts 7:1-19

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
