TOPIC: THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM      December Tuesday 31st
TEXT: Luke 22:23-27
KEY VERSE: Mark 10:44 “And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.”
Greatness is not in physical appearance or human recognition. Greatness is not a matter of out ward position or human recognition. Let us come to money, who has the most money here in his possession, you may not tell, the person you think is not the one, may be you will be judging on the clothes or shoes the person is putting on. Your judgment may be wrong. So, in the same way the greatest in the kingdom is not someone you think is occupying this mighty position such as International Director, maybe you are judging wrongly God knows who actually is the greatest, therefore do not seek great positions hoping to attain greatness thereby. Do you know that God does not see greatness in position? There are many General overseers, Church founders and Bishops over great assemblies whose names are not in heaven, because of sinful lifestyles. They arrange for immorality with women in various places and claim that they are going for missionary work, and you think he is going to preach there. He goes over there to do what he wants, and comes here and be saying when I was in America it was great. You say great man of God, Bishop of human recognition. It is a matter of inward humility, in the Spirit, in the heart greatness in the kingdom is not a matter of position occupied, leadership authority, spiritual gift and power, political office, academic degree, fame among men, success and achievements. True greatness can be seen where godly virtues are manifested as great faith, outstanding godliness, wisdom, manifesting great acts of sacrificial love. It can be shown by manifesting great self-control, and patience. It is a matter of heartfelt love for God, and commitment to His word and to holy living.

To the woman, the Lord says do not seek to please your husband through carnal beauty but rather be spiritual. Your face may not be beautiful, but righteousness makes every woman beautiful. This is where beauty is. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Why are you running after physical beauty that appears today and fades away tomorrow? Run after greatness in the right area, develop your virtuous qualities as a woman. Brothers among the leaders come down. Do not seat on top of them. Do not make any impression because, you want to show that I am among the higher coordinators then, you are the least among them if you keep on making a show of yourself.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
