TOPIC: WHAT IS HOLINESS?
TEXT: 1 Peter 1:14-16
KEY VERSE: Luke 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Holiness is a life that does not commit sin. That is what God wants from you. Jesus came to achieve this in you. What then is sin? Sin is doing and practicing something evil, known or unknown to you. Some sins are obvious such as fornication, adultery, stealing, taking bribe, but some are not. The sins that are not so clear will require the laboratory eye of a holiness microscope to detect it as bacteria. You have been committing sin in your innocence because you did not know. You are ignorant. Look at it through the spiritual microscope and detect the bacteria; that this thing is sin! You are ignorant that perming is sin, it is because you don’t know, but we know. Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. You are the one saying earring is not a sin, we know it is a sin; it is a defilement. The scripture says so even though your church may not be telling you. That is a dangerous position. All these trousers you are putting on is sin. You may want to be defensive, “Ah, I don’t know, I covered my nakedness.” I am saying emphatically with the microscope of holiness that I can see bacteria in your body. It is the biblical truth and without holiness no man shall see the Lord.

You have been laboring in ministry, going up and down. Why would you miss heaven? Why not perfect the remaining things in your life? The remaining sins in your life must be detected for you to go to heaven. You must be told of the sins by those who by reason of use have their senses exercised. Why do you argue when they tell you the truth that will save you? Why are you dressing to the church in short skirts and body-exposing garments or dressing like worldly musicians and ruffians to the church? Why do we turn the church of God to a rough environment? Why are people applauding iniquity?

Thought for the day: Holiness is the key to the gate of heaven.
Song for the day: Holiness (2x) The kingdom of God is Holy (2x) Without Holiness.....
Bible reading for the day: Nehemiah 7-8; Acts 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
