TOPIC: THERE IS NO DISCRIMINATION IN CREATION – Part 2
TEXT: Acts 17:26-28
KEY VERSE: Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

There was an intelligent man, a professor of learning. He was very, very intelligent and people (including scientists) were thinking his brain must be of superior quality compared to other people. So, they told him “Sir, we would want to get your brain and do some laboratory work on it, if you will allow us.” He said, “Okay, when I die you are free to take my brain to carry out your laboratory investigation.” When he died, they were able to remove his brain for clinical examination in order to find out what made him exceptionally brilliant. To carry out the laboratory test, the scientists also had to get specimens of the brains of other people in order to be able to carry out a comparative analysis. As they brought the brains into the laboratory and started working on them something happened. (I know God did it). The team leader had placed the professor’s “special brain” among other brains, and he thought he knew the exact location where he placed it. But when he came back to the set of brains, somehow he couldn’t identify it again. But he was not so much bothered. He told his colleagues, “Don’t worry, by the time I carry out quality test on the brains, I will detect the professor’s brain.” He began the test, and after testing all the specimens, he discovered to his greatest surprise that they were all reading the same.

The great lesson from this illustration is that God made all human beings of the same quality. Praise the Lord! We may have different colours, different heights and different sizes but when it comes to what represents life, we are all the same? The same blood that gives life flows in each and every one of us. Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood. It is very important I let you know this because of tribal struggle, tribal pride, tribal superiority, tribal inferiority, that come over people. What makes you feel your tribe is superior? What makes you different from other tribes? Is it because of number? Have you reached the number of sands in the sea shore? So what makes you special?

Thought for the day: Grace may differ. We are equal in creation.
Song for the day: Bind us together Lord, bind us together with cord that cannot be broken
Bible reading for the day: Ezra 6-8; John 21

KEY VERSE: It came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said, Lord, teach us how to pray as John taught his disciples. Luke 11: 1. When Jesus Christ came to us in the flesh, He went into the business of prayer because He was promoting the attribute of God as a prayer-answering God. He would not render that attribute idle or redundant. Nobody knew how John did it, but Jesus reveals here that the success you saw in the ministry of John the Baptist, the victory you saw in his ministry, is because he was a prayer man. John so much valued prayer. He saw the essentials of pr...
