TOPIC: THE BODY OF CHRIST IS ONE
TEXT: Ephesians 4:3-6
KEY VERSE: John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

In Christianity, there is oneness of the church of Christ of all denominations, as you see oneness of the human race of all tribes from the same source. The church of Christ is called by various denominational names to differentiate one from another, but as the differences in human race mean nothing because we are all the offspring of Adam, likewise the different names of our churches mean nothing for we all are purchased and saved by Jesus Christ. The church originated from Jesus as the human race originated from Adam. The first man was called Adam, and the second Man, Jesus Christ. In the first man there is tribal unity if God gives you that understanding, and in the second Man Jesus Christ, there is spiritual unity. The body of Christ is one. I am emphasizing this because many churches are straying from the way of God because of denominationalism. They are using church names to segregate themselves. They are saying, “I will not listen to preaching from this person, I will not allow somebody from that church to come and preach in my church. Jesus don’t send anybody outside our church.” You are only destroying yourself. You don’t have understanding that the church of Christ is one. In today’s devotional bible reading, Paul explains that the church, despite the various denominations, has sameness and the sameness are seven: one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God.

The church has seven sameness, seven oneness and the letter seven is the perfect number. We are perfectly one. Why? It is one body, it has one Spirit, the Holy Spirit, yes we have one hope. Our hope is Heaven. We have one Lord, Jesus Christ. We have one faith, the Holy Bible. We have one baptism. This is not water baptism because the Bible says “as many as have been baptized into the body of Christ have put on Christ,” which is talking about the born again experience through the transformation received when one is immersed into Christ by the Holy Spirit.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
