TOPIC: GOD’S INSTRUCTION TO HOREMOW IN AMERICA
NOVEMBER Thursday 15th
TEXT: 1 Peter 4: 17-19
KEY VERSE: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9
I said to him, “We are not a denomination, but a non-denominational ministry”. He said, “That is what will work here. Go up and down freely and evangelize the people. Preach the word without charge to the people. He took me to the department of Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW). When I went there I saw that only about 15 members were without chains. The rest were all in chains. The about 15 who did not have chains on them were detained and levied very great sum of money to pay before they could be released. They must have to work so hard to get the money to settle the huge bills charged against them in order to be released. This will require several numbers of years. “Where will they get the money to be redeem themselves?” I asked the man. He replied by saying, “For those who think they can get the money to redeem themselves through hard work, it is impossible, forever. Tell them to redeem themselves, they must accept poverty, hate the dollar, submit fully to Jesus, give themselves to prayer and fasting and serve God with all their might as though they are mad among the people.
I saw that the rest of the HOREMOW members were in chains because of compromise with the laws of the government. These laws are designed in such a way that the citizens can easily break them. When they do so, they are charged and had to work hard to pay for their offences. The offences include: “Why did you break this flower? Why didn’t you stop? Why, why and why?” There is no provision for forgiveness. You must pay according to their estimation and the bills are heavy. When our brethren plead for mercy due to lack of funds, they say to them, “That is why you have to conform to the system to have your needs met.”
Thought for the day: The man now said that the only Person that can pay for them to redeem them is JESUS CHRIST.”
