TOPIC: DENOMINATIONALISM IN THE LIGHT OF REVIVAL OF HOLINESS
NOVEMBER Friday 30th
TEXT: Ephesians 4: 11-14
KEY VERSE: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3: 15
QUESTION: There are different denominations all over the world, and different practices in churches. What is the leadership of the church doing to ensure unity in the church?
ANSWER: Now, when you say the leadership of the church, I want to tell you that the church is not under a human leader, the church is the church of the Lord Jesus Christ; under the Leadership of the Lord Jesus, under the leadership of the Holy Ghost, for He is the leader. The church was purchased by the blood of Jesus; the Holy Ghost is in charge of the church, He is one with Jesus; He came to glorify Jesus and one with Him. So what I say is, God is the One in charge of His Church. The question you should be asking then is: “What is God doing to dissolve the partitions, the wall of partitions, that exist among denominations and to unite them upon the true gospel?” Of course there are some things God is already doing about it, He has appointed people that will be the true overseers of His own church, for you shall know them by their fruit; you shall know them by their calling. These are the people that are feeding the church with the right thing. The reason why the church divided is because those that fed them, fed them with different things, they fed them with different diet, so, it started behaving differently. God now, according to promise, is raising teachers, pastors after His heart to teach the church the sound word and this which God is doing will certainly unite the body of Christ.
What makes you to differ from your brother Is lack of understanding.  You did not get the appropriate knowledge. God is raising people that will feed the church with the appropriate knowledge, so that we shall become united. From our text, we see the ministry gifts that the Lord gave. People that are true, people that are sincere, in the apostolic spirit of Paul the Apostle, of Peter, of John the beloved, the apostolic spirit of the preachers of old time, the Lord is raising them up to teach the church knowledge and understanding. So that they can be united, till we all come in the unity of the faith, unto the knowledge of the Son of God; we come into the unity of the faith, into the knowledge of the Son of God, so that we are no more tossed to and fro, it is these false teachers that are tossing us to and fro. They cannot prove their teachings and practices from the Bible. The teachers that the Lord is raising up are those that teach by the Bible; teach with Biblical explanations; so clear, scripture answering scripture with clear Christian life and fruits of service. These are the people the Lord is raising up.
Thought for the day: God is raising people to feed the church with the knowledge of truth

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
