TOPIC: IS PAYMENT OF TITHE REQUIRED OF CHRISTIANS TODAY?
NOVEMBER Sunday 18th
TEXT: Genesis 14:18-20
Key verse: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.  And he gave him tithes of all. Genesis 14: 20
QUESTION: Some denominations do not believe in tithe payment, I want to be cleared Sir and some people pay tithe personally to minister, is it correct or is it wrong?
ANSWER: Abraham paid tithes long before the law of Moses was given. He paid tithe to a man called Melchizedek, the priest of the Most High God. He was the minister of the Most High God. We didn’t have the details of Melchizedek but Abraham would have known him, Abraham would have been convinced about him, Abraham would have been well directed to do what he did knowing that it is to God’s priest, a minister of God, representing God. It means the Lord led you so to give tithe to a minister of God. You know the minister, you know his life and work that it is in truth and righteousness. You can do that because the Lord has led you to the right place. You can do that, that’s to say that before you give tithes to a minister, he should be a true servant of the God.
Yes, but you say he is not a pastor over a church the Bible says the human body don’t have the same members, we have the eye, we have the nose, we have the ear, we have the hand, we have other members that are inside that we don’t see them. They work together to form the whole body. In the same way the ministers in the body of Christ don’t carry out the same function. There are some that are pastors that gather congregation to pastor them, there are some that are evangelists and don’t have congregations, some have prayer ministry, some have children ministry, some have different kinds of ministry that may not have a building gathering people but they are true servants of God, true ministers of God and we are all working together to produce salvation for mankind. Does that man also need money? And if he is looking for money who does he tell? He tells God and the money you have in your hand as tithe is God’s money. That man has called on God and God can tell you to send that money in your hand to him?

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
