TOPIC: WHICH SPIRIT IS WORKING THE MIRACLES?
NOVEMBER Monday 12th
TEXT: 1 John 4: 1-4
KEY VERSE: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4: 1
It depends on who spirit is working the miracles, which spirit is working the miracles? Is it the Spirit of Christ or of the devil? If it is of Christ, it should be based on scripture. In the manner of scripture, may be once in a while it can manifest and that’s the end, it won’t become a doctrine in the church. Just once in a while the Holy Spirit will manifest it and that’s the end, or for just a period and that’s the end. But now that it has come to stay and it’s moving from church to church, it is of the devil.
Forget the miracles that are there, it’s of the devil. And you who are practicing it, the devil might be the one performing the miracles under your ministry. They’re giving you testimonies of handkerchiefs and aprons, note that the Lord asked Moses to speak to the rod but he struck it. Water of course came out for the people to drink but Moses missed the Promised Land because God was not glorified, and the Bible say without faith it is impossible to please Him. Now that you are leading your congregation away from faith; you’re going to substances for them; you’re going to physical things; they can get healed but you won’t go to the Promised Land.
Because you have led the people away from faith: from the hearing of faith; from the prayer of faith; you have led them to physical things; water has come for them to drink; material things! But for the water of life they will not have it, and for you yourself who has turned the people from faith to substances and turned them from the God that is pleased by faith, you will not go to the Promised Land. So, that is what we need to know and cause the spirit behind these things to vanish from your churches. Destroy them! They are bottles of sin!
You may say, when we went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem, this is the pure anointing oil! They will tell you this one is from Jerusalem. Do they believe in Jesus Christ there? Why are you then thinking that things that come from Jerusalem should be superior? You know Simon the sorcerer said, “Give me this power also that on whomsoever I shall lay my hand, he shall receive the Holy Ghost.” He wanted to buy anointing for money! May the God of heaven deliver His Church from corruption, and protect the remnant and make them pure for His own glory in Jesus Name.
