GOD ALONE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE AND HONOUR FRIDAY MARCH 10 TEXT: PSALM 47:1-9 Key Verse: “sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our king, sing praises” Psalm 47:6. God is the Creator who made all things for His glory and praise. He ordained praise, thanksgiving and worship of Himself as the duty of all His creatures. He inhabits the praise and worship of His saints. Praise and worship of God is offered to the Trinity that is, the three Personalities in the God head: the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The three are the one God, one Lord, Jehovah that angels and saints in heaven and on earth praise and worship. Mark 12:29-30, And Jesus answered Him, the first of all the commandment is, hear, o Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord; 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Let the psalmists lead us to Him to offer our praise, thanksgiving and worship in the following psalms: Psalm 22:23, 25, Ye that fear the LORD praise Him; all ye the seed of Jacob glorify Him; and fear Him, all ye the seed of Israel. 25 my praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear Him. Psalm 47:1, 6, O clap your hands, all ye people: shout unto God with the voice of triumph. 6 sing praises to God, sing praises, sing praises unto our king, sing praises, direct your praises to God. Let God be the Personality in your heart when you are offering praise, thanksgiving and worship. He is the Person we praise, thank and worship. He is the Person of universal praise. Living and non living things praise and worship Him. God will not give His glory to another. Ministers in the church most not direct the people’s heart to themselves, but to God. Believers can show appreciation to man for yielding himself to God so that Divine grace and virtues pass through him to bless fellow men, but praise and all adoration should be given to God. Thought for the day: Praise and adoration should be given to God. Song for the day: We worship You the Unchangeable, Unchangeable God (2x). . . Bible reading for the day: Deuteronomy 11-13; Mark 13:1-13 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
