PAY MORE ATTENTION TO HOLY LIVING THAN MIRACLES FRIDAY MARCH 24 TEXT: ACTS 8: 9-10 Key verse: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” 2 Corinthians 11: 14 - 15 The quest for miracles today depicts clearly the abounding iniquity characteristic of the end times. People now have the hunger for the man of God to see something for them and the ungodly men who want to satisfy the people collect power from Satan; some wash their faces and are able to see even their under-wears creating the impression that they are doing it for God, but not of God. The people are bewitched: Some use mystical oil and add anointing to it – anointing oil, water, apron, mantle and sand. The scriptures say the prayer of faith shall save the sick, not the oil: James 5:15 “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him”. Oil was used for the sick only and even this is optional. Apart from Paul, no other apostle used apron, and Jesus also did not use it. Even in the ministry of Paul, aprons and handkerchiefs applied only for a brief period and not all through his ministry. The power working on these items today is definitely not of God but of the devil. Those who desire eternal life must flee from these substances. Those who are not of God can perform miracles by power of Satan but cannot live holy life. You that have been looking for miracle without seeking for salvation, you are like dog always looking for the crumbs that falls from the table. Jesus said that it is not all that call Him lord but those who do His will. Examine the life of the minister performing the miracle to ensure that there is holiness in his life before running to him, else you will be defiled. It is not miracle that takes one to heaven but holiness. Holiness is indeed the beauty of the believer. Thought for the day: Those who desire eternal life must flee from idolatry. Song for the day: I have a Father, Almighty Father, He is King of kings, Lord of lords, I have a Father. Bible reading for the day: Joshua 11-13; Luke 4:1-32 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
