DILIGENT PERSUASION FOR TRUE CHRISTIANITY FRIDAY MARCH 3 TEXT: MATTHEW 7:13-14, HEBREWS 12:12-17 Key verse: “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled” Hebrew 12:15. Men are born into this world of sin and are completely ignorant of God and His righteous demands. They live in sin, serve Satan, the world and perish. Some play religion without understanding anything about the true God and the true way to salvation. Many who claim to be on the way to heaven are on the broad way to destruction, being ignorant of the narrow way. It is our responsibilities to make them know God and His word of life. This requires diligent persuasion. Heaven-bound Christians must have this spiritual consciousness. Man must turn from the darkness of sin, ignorance, idolatry, religion and nominal Christianity. We must persuade; family members, relations, neighbors, people of other religions and ignorant worshippers around us to come to heaven bound Christianity in truth, righteousness and holiness. This can be achieved by the following means; preaching, diligence, sacrifice, wisdom, love, testimonies, evangelism, invitation, prayer etc. We are in the period of the rapture! Diligence is required of our Christian life at this period that Satan is employing his strongest schemes, temptations, wiles, and attacks against the righteous. We must do all to stand and to be presented to God perfect, without spots or wrinkle. The Lord enjoins us to hear His word of eternal life. It is our responsibility to diligently seek for the truth. Diligently make search for the doctrines of the word. Diligently inquire after the tradition of righteous and holy living and diligently mediate on the word of God. When one has acquired the knowledge of the truth, the same diligence must be employed in obeying it. Christian prosperity follows full obedience to the word of God. We must walk orderly according to the traditions and discipline of righteous men and women who have gone before us. Make diligent search of your heart and life through the mirror of God’s word. Make diligent effort to settle with your neighbors to live in peace with all men. Be a doer of the word of God and not a hearer only. Thought for the day: Walk according to the discipline of righteous men who have gone before us. Song for the day: Heavenly Father, You are wonderful, You are excellent, You are marvelous… Bible reading for the day: Numbers 30-31; Mark 9:30-50 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
