CALL TO CHRISTIAN SERVICE SUNDAY MARCH 26 TEXT: ACTS 26: 16-18 Key Verse: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” Acts 26: 18 The Author of your faith is Jesus. He determines your service unto Him. It may appear as if you made the choice but He did it and orders your steps towards it. He said I have chosen you even when you were in your mother’s womb. The ministry God gives His children are in stages: as you are faithful in one, He takes you to the next stage. You should know that it is not by your power but the will of God. Therefore do not seek greatness after the flesh in which will engender covetousness or jealousy for other’s promotion. Also know that you must not despise the calling of others. It is God that set it and you should not disdain your beginning; do not also glory in your status but give all glory onto God. The members of the body of Christ are many and the position you occupy is decided by God, therefore whichever work is assigned to you or you are doing, it may be ushering, sanitation, preaching, prayer warrior, etc, do it faithfully. The work is complimentary to others’, so see this work as a team working together to win together and go to heaven together. Also, understand that we will be rewarded according to our service. Paul declared, he was a prophet by the will of God, not by any man. Avoid strife, rely on God, He will guide you. Do not say somebody has pushed you away. They must have pushed you to where God wants you to be, so be there faithfully and God will help you to stand and grow. In the world to come God will unfold to us the riches of his grace, he will cause light to shine over us. Whatever the world do to your flesh cannot be compared with the reward God has laid in heaven for you. Let them be breaking your bones one by one, or cut you gradually, the crown of glory, the crown of righteousness is waiting for you. The beauty of God, the majesty of God, the glory of God shall come upon his righteous minister, therefore ensure you strive, and remain faithful to the end. Thought for the day: Do not seek greatness after the flesh. Song for the day: Give me grace to follow, abundant grace to follow….. Bible reading for the day: Joshua 16-18; Luke 5:1-16 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
