ETERNAL REWARDS AWAITS THE FAITHFUL TUESDAY JANUARY 24 TEXT: JOHN 4:34-38, 9:4-5 Key verse: “…My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” John 4:34. A faithful missionary worked fourty years in Africa and lost his wife in the mission field. He became very old and was going back to America aboard the same ship with an Army General who visited Africa for just two weeks. As they arrived at America, he saw a crowd of people at the shore and exclaimed, Oh! My home church has gathered people to welcome me after my labour in Africa. He was very joyful, but was later dissappointed. The General came out first from the ship and left with the crowd. When he came out and saw that not a single person remained to welcome him, he became confused and sad. After much thought, he remembered the contact number of an old friend. He called him on phone and thank God the man hurriedly came with his wife to welcome the missionary. They said, ‘Oh! You are welcome! Come to our house and stay’. They took him to their house, and gave him a room. He entered into the room, fell down and cried to God saying, ‘God! Is that how You will treat me? Having labored for You for 40 years? Nobody to say thank you and nobody to welcome me?” God told him, ‘you have not yet come home. Come home and see!’ The reward of Christianity that God has reserved for His children are great. Righteous man and righteous woman, If the Lord will open your eyes to see the rewards already in your file, you will want to jump to heaven now! Stop thinking of money, vehicles and mundane things of this life. Heaven is superior to earth, so are the properties of heaven. So are the wealth of heaven, superior to that of the earth, and the God of heaven, the eternal God is saying to you that He is waiting for you. You are going to inherit rewards of believing in Jesus and for the rewards of identifying with him in this life, in those nations where they don’t want to hear His name. Some of you who worship underground and stood for Jesus will soon be in heaven. You are going to receive the reward of identifying with Jesus for the rewards of your Christian service that you have been rendering in one way or the other. Thought for the day: Our momentary light affliction works for us an eternal weight of glory. Song for the day: When my work is over, I shall wear a crown, I shall wear a crown… Bible reading for the day: Exodus 7-8; Matthew 17 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
